Summer 2026 Astrological Outlook
Hi, and thanks for reading this astrological update — I hope it helps you navigate this summer’s intense energies.
Upcoming Moons
Let’s start with the upcoming moons. In Western astrology, we have a Full Moon at 8° Capricorn on June 29th, followed by a New Moon at 21° Cancer on July 14th. These two moons will impact anyone with significant placements in the Cardinal signs (Cancer-Capricorn, Libra-Aries). July 29th shifts our focus to the fixed signs, with a Full Moon at 6° Aquarius. August is eclipse season, and that deserves its own post entirely. Let’s jump into what this suggests:

The Capricorn Full Moon on June 29th acts as a checkpoint, is the work you’ve been doing solid and sustainable, or will it collapse under pressure? Capricorn is a steady earth sign whose job is to test structural integrity. It also illuminates where you’re spending unnecessary energy and where to prune your focus. The New Moon in Cancer that follows opens a window to nurture and grow in the new direction you’ve identified. Think of it as challenging father energy showing you what’s weak, then warm, nurturing mother energy helping you rebuild in the right direction for your growth.
The Full Moon at 6° Aquarius on July 29th is your chance to bring that work into the light — to share your projects and revisions with others and put the changes into action. From there we move into eclipse season, which deserves its own future conversation. Remember, eclipses bring real, physical change. They don’t ask if you’re ready, they simply shift life onto a new road, whether you’ve chosen it or not. June and July are your window to get into alignment before the eclipses force the issue.
Big 444 Alignment

July brings an extraordinary alignment of 4’s. Multiple outer planets- Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, and Jupiter, will all sit at 4 degrees of their respective signs. Pluto will be retrograde at 4° Aquarius, Neptune turns retrograde on July 7th at 4° Aries, and Uranus moves to 4° Gemini that same day. Jupiter joins briefly at 4° Leo from July 19–24, adding tension and expansion that brings the trines and sextiles between the other three planets into fullness.
This configuration is entirely in air and fire signs which points to a radical, massive awakening of consciousness. The shift was seeded this past winter (Feb 2026) when Saturn and Neptune met at 0° Aries; now we’re seeing the early promise of that shift begin to unfold. This isn’t a soft, easy awakening, it’s an intense birthing process, one where mass illusion, societal underbelly, and true spiritual purpose come together to allow a real leap in collective consciousness. These are labor pains: the hard shake-ups and intense confrontations doing the work of transforming illusion and the feelings of disillusionment into true spiritual awakening. The deep psychological underbelly (Pluto) has to be dealt with, and Uranus brings the unavoidable shocks that force deep, ancestral, karmic patterns to the surface.
Many people have already been doing their own deep personal work, and they’ll begin leading new consciousness movements. As more people wake up, they’ll start to see where and how they were manipulated and deluded by governments, politics, agencies, and institutions. Uranus’s drive for freedom and sovereignty, combined with Neptune’s ethereal energy, will pull us toward a spiritual approach and away from sickness-based models. The real risk is the next illusion, but Pluto holds our feet to the fire, holding us accountable to the ancestral memory carried in every cell, which needs to be resolved through deep healing, connection, and forgiveness with all aspects of life.

Returning to ourselves, to the earth, and to a higher, simpler way of life is the call. Using Uranian technology to create safety and structure would be the higher expression of these 4’s. The number 4 represents stability, earth, groundedness, and structure. But we have to create it; we’re responsible for this world. These same 4’s can just as easily lock us into a technological illusion with nightmarish consequences.
This moment offers a real chance to see what needs to be seen and take strides toward a new future; strides that might otherwise take decades can happen in the blink of an eye, as Uranus lends us its dimension-leaping capacity. We have to take the opportunity and leap, to trust the higher future and commit to it. Remember, these are trines and sextiles, not squares and oppositions. They don’t force us to deal with them; they offer a powerful, supportive opportunity that we must choose to recognize. I share this hoping it inspires you to pick up these openings and apply them in your own life. Individual change ripples out into consciousness, cosmic, and collective change — trust yourself. You are enough!
What This Means for You
Every transit expresses itself differently depending on your natal chart. If you have planets or points around 4 degrees of any sign, you’ll feel this in some way — whether as harder tension or easier flow depends on your personal chart. What areas of your life asks for these changes depends on the houses of your chart and where these outer planets are currently transiting. There is the collective event and there is also the personal reflective experience.
